This Taylor Boy Scout compass is likely from the 40's or 50's and is in remarkabe shape.  Very accurate!

This extraordinarily rare Taylor Boy Scouts compass is an earlier example than the above - note the bar needle and the 1918 patent date.  Olive drab paint over nickeled brass.
